DECT base stations BS 4, BS 3/3, BS 3/1, BS 2/2
The base stations form the radio cells and administer the communication with the wireless terminal equipment. They are connected to the radio switch using 1 to 3 system specific UP0/E interfaces and directly to the system control using 1 UP0/E interface. The type of activation depends on the system variant. This base station allows for up to 12 calls (if 3 UP0/E are activated) at the same time. The perfect location of the base stations in order to cover the radio of the whole building or factory premises is determined with radio technological measurements in project planning. For increased radio ranges it is possible to use special antennas
